For the life of me, I cannot see anywhere to attach an external aerial on my 910 - the new chip is supposed to be megga good at it.
But there are loads of folk on this forum who are wizards with screwdrivers and stuff, so keep watching. _________________ Dennis

The TomTom aerial will do the job if you really need it. The GPS reception with a 910 is very good, you must have put the unit in a very shielded location if its struggling to get a signal - have a look at THIS
Dennis, the external GPS plugs in to the right hand side of the mount connector is the one furthest away from the windscreen - Mike |

Thanks for the replies. The position I use my 910 is under the TV screen on a E60 BMW. Reception is ok , providing you get a 1st gps fix with the unit on the dash, but I quite often leave it under the dash when I park. I've noticed some cheaper GPS aerials on EBAY with gains from 28 to 55 dB. Which is the best aerial to go for? |
