Tomtom 1 V2 Battery Losing Charge

When I leave my Tomtom unused for about a week, the battery runs down. It powers up when I connect it to the car, no problem, but I thought the battery would / should hold its charge!

Is this normal, or have I got a faulty battery? I only bought it at Xmas.

the v2 battery doesnt last long , probably tomtom thinks the unit will be in the car all the time..

Don't forget, when you switch it off, it isn't really "off" just resting....
