Welcome to the forum, there are some excellent free voices over at RAY's Site, for most others you would need to pay a small fee to download them - Mike |

Thanks for the link.
I don't recognise any of the people kindly donating thier voices. I was looking for some slightly more recongisable voices, like Darth Vader or Homer Simpson.
Thanks for the welcome too. This site is very useful. Good job. |

I thought of another question...
I backed up my SD card through my device using the Windows Back Up Wizard. The file is a windows back up file. Is this sufficient in the event of any problems?
Thanks again.

Copy the entire card back to your PC using Windows Explorer, make sure show hidden files is enabled and hide extensions for known file types is not selected. You can get an idea os to where these options are HERE
As for the voices, I find the Liz voice is better than those supplied with the software and certainly better than the add on "gimmick" voices - they are funny for a short while, but over 9 hours in a single day they tend to become tiresome - Mike |

Thanks Mike,
Have made a successful backup. Have also downloaded the Speed Cams and got that all working.
I have decided against having any voices. I prefer just to glance at the map from time to time.
Thanks again for this great site, very useful.

Vicki Archer is a very good voice, I've had her installed for several months... a very neutral voice and somehow... comforting 8) |

Not really safe or reliable though is it?
I can highly recommend the voices on Rays site.
If not, at least use the available sounds (siren - bell etc) |

I think "sherific" is talking about Navigation voices, not camera alerts. |
