i have a tomtom one v2
I was wondering how i can add a blocked road as such to my map.
The situation is ...
when i plan any route from my house, it keeps telling me to turn left into a road, next to where i live, which has been a one way street for the last 10 years.
So obviously i cannot turn left there like it keeps telling me to do.
So i was wondering if there was anyway i could do something to stop it keep telling me to turn left there, and re route me a different way instead. |

If it's near your house, you probably know the roads quite well. Simply ignore its advice and drive out the correct way - it will very quickly recalculate a route and take you on from there.

its ok doing that, but the reroute makes a difference to the actual new route i have to take. Bit complicated to explain i know.
But there must be a way of adding blocked roads that i come across , in the future, so it dosen't make me go down one way streets etc ... |

you can press aviod route , you get a list of roads your routes on ,you select the road you want to avoid and the tomtom recalculates.. _________________ *************************** |

Apart from the advice above, there is no way to change or add new detail to the installed maps.
All you can do is report the error to the mapmakers and TomTom, and hope it gets corrected in the next map release (but that usually takes months or years...).
Error report forms:-
TeleAtlas
Navteq
TomTom (you need to be logged in for this one) |
