TomTom had a stand at work today, and I overheard a conversation with one of their representatives.
He was trying to demo the 910, but couldn't find a particular address that a customer had given him, in response to this the TomTom represenative said 'this is now one of our oldest products and requires a map update, which is due end of February'
I tried to quiz him about new product releases in March, but nothing |

Even though TT have not fixed or delivered all their current products this is what I suspect will be lauched at CeBit in March:-
The x10 range will be replaced with the x20, these will have a similar form factor to the existing One & Garmin units, but with wide screens. In addition they will all have Text to Speach along with built in TMC receiver, the harddisk will be dropped and replaced with solid state storage. They may also include the a builtin FM transmiter, and replace the screen mount.
I don't think there will be any changes in terms of map data, apart from the activation methods & codes.
The PDA version will be formally dropped. |
