hello there folks i have just bought a tomtom one new edition. i have set it to display my speed when travelling. can anyone please tell me if this speed is accurate as in more accurate than your speedometer. |

All speedometers must not read slow at all, but can read upto 10% fast. Therfore they are usually made to read about 5% fast |

gps speed reading is more accurate than a speedo but really only when travelling on level ground at pretty constant speeds.
up and down hills the readings can be distorted. |
