TT One Euro - Free (?) Traffic Updates

Hi,

I have had my TT One Euro unit about two weeks now, and I am very pleased with it.

I have read a lot on here about peoples experience with the TT Traffic feature, so I thought I would give it a go.... yesterday on a drive down to Kent I selected the option off the menu and after a moment or two it simply started telling me about the traffic conditions on the route.

I was expecting to have to put in a credit card number or something! How have I got this service without seemingly paying the forty Euros??

on new units there is a 1 month free trial of traffic. hopefully to 'hook' you into taking out the full subscription afterwards.
i actually do subscribe to it as i drive all day but it is not 100% accurate but i still find it worethwile.

Quite impressed with it at the moment, but I can see it has flaws (came to a standstill on the M25 last night for an accident which seemed to be more than 15 mins old - lots of emergency services on site) that wasnt showing...

Guess, I will make the most of it during the free month and then take a view on things.
