i ahev just upgraded to a TT1 from the i3 and i am over the moon with the upgrade. The one thing i am missing from the i3 is the alert if you are over the speed limit, is this possible on the TT1?

Also what set of camera DB is best to use?

No you're not.

It can't do it.

Use the speed-zoned set if you want to know the speed limits

Is it only the x10s that offer this facility?

What facility?
I thought marbar was talking about the way the i3 can be set to alert to a speed camera only if you are going over the speed limit at the time. (Unless I've got that wrong - I thought I'd read about it here) and the x10s don't do that (Unless I've got that wrong, too) :P

Some of the TT units, using the latest software, display the road speed limit, often (usually?) wrongly, your speed and if you are a certain %age over the limit, flash both in a colour scheme that make them completely unreadable.

Sorry if i have confused you, what i mean is......

On the i3 it will beep on approach to the camera, but if you are speeding it will carry on beeping. If you are under the limit it just beeps once to alert you of the camera then just displays it in the screen

I hope this makes it clearer?

I think the ogg files with lovely Vicky saying "warning, gatso ahead, speed limit 40 miles an hour", is much better than a beep and then having to read the screen to see what the limit is.

I agree, this is one feature I miss from my i3.
