[6012] Unresponsive

I own a Rikaline 6012 with TT software for an IPaQ 3950,

All worked great untill a few months ago,
somehow I cant communicate with the rikaline device anymore.

I contacted customer support by email but their one-lined suggestions were really weak. after emailing 3 or 4 times I got no response anymore from them.

My Ipaq works fine on another device of a friend, His Ipaq doesnt work on my faulty device.

The 6012 model has a little green light which still is burning, and my Ipaq is still loading its batteries while connected.

The GPS software uses some graphical display to let me know it is communicating with the mouse by the means of little black dots going from a satellite icon to a Ipaq icon,
but the dots are gone now, like its disconnected.

I have this problem for a while now, and done a LOT to get it to work, but I'm running out of ideas now. so you are my last hope.
ANyone having these problems in the past? and is there any solution or should I just throw the device away and give up.

I'd guess you're better off getting yourself a decent receiver. If you want to stay with the wired version, think about a RoyalTek RGM 2000 or about the TomTom serial (Leadtek 953x)
