I didn't get any answers when I posted last week in the other forum...found this forum now and figured it'd be better to ask here what I still had left to ask. Smile

1. I know that the Europe version has maps provided by Navteq and the regional version has maps by TeleAtlas. Sweden isn't totally covered by Navteq but when the next map update comes it will be since they just finished covering Sweden and Norway. Next summer I'll be taking my parents around Scandinavia -- mostly driving out to the west coast of Norway -- so I'm worried TomTom would not have the update out by then yet. I'm also concerned about how bad their current Sweden map is for use around where I am until the next update. However, at the same time, it seems Navteq is working to cover Europe better than TeleAtlas, and that now that they've covered all of Scandinavia, it'd be better with more POIs and being more up-to-date than Teletalas once TomTom updates. Plus...if I order the Europe version from the UK it's the same price as if I were to buy the regional version here in Sweden, so I'd get more from my money. So, any suggestions for what I should do? Anyone how how bad the maps for Scandinavia are as of now?

2. Navteq says they only have about 10% of Swedish address ranges covered at this point. Are address ranges just street addresses, meaning it doesn't have 90% of addresses listed and thus a small chance of it knowing an address I want to go to?

3. And finally, just out of curiosity...since Iceland and the Faroe Islands are not available in any package for download at TomTom, how would one get maps for those places? I know at least Navteq has covered the main roads of Iceland...but how does one get them?

Thanks!

If you look at TomTom's website, they show 99% coverage on the regional maps for Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland
