TomTom One Sampling Rate

16000Hz for Mobile and 22050Hz for Pocket PC or PNA devices, in what way does it sound too fast? - to be honset I don't bother with the sample rate anymore the units appear to take what I throw at them (I don't use TT Mobile though where this could be an issue) - Mike

Ignore the sample rate in Audacity simply choose the File/ Export as OGG Vorbis option without messing with file sampling rates - you can create some very strange sound effects with the software, and it sounds like this is what you have experianced.
If you have the original sounds on the PC as wav files start again and simply use the export as OGG Vorbis, give it a try - Mike
