tomtom one 4 digit pin code, what a joke.

just put the pin on my tomtom one, then with in minutes i had removed it without realizing, and it never asked me for it, i wont explain how i done it just in case someone who likes to help them selves to these is looking, but its not a very good security set up.

not leaving them in sight is the best security device.. its the smashed windows and vehicle damage that bothers me more than the possible loss of the tomtom..

in fact its what p-sses me off the most about petty theft.. the g-ts dont mind doing a grands worth of damage to nick something they get twenty quid for..

tbh... i think the 4 digit pin code was meant for the petty thief rather then the more experienced users...

but like "trog100" mentions, best this is to not have your tomtom on sight..

what I personally do is.. when it tells me you have "xxx" meters to destionation.. I switch it off and undock (if safe to do so) there and then. Better to do it then, than doing it at the destination.
