I have successfully downloaded the PocketGPSWorld camera database to my 910 and see the relevant POI's, however when I download the Classic FM POI database they don't appear in my list of POI's on TomTom. What am I doing wrong ?

Are they .ov2 files?
Are they in your map folder?
Have you Enabled them in Change Preferences?

Otherwise, post details with as much info as poss...file format, what you have done thus far without success, did you manually copy them across or install using TomTom HOME, ........that sort of thing.

Both the ov2 and bmp files should be placed in the Western Europe map folder (the same location you put the speed cameras), then you should be able to find them in your POI listings, unless you have loaded lots more POI - there is a limit of 100 custom POI on the TomTom devices running version 6 software - Mike

Yes they are ov2 files
Yes they are in my map folder
The point is I can't enable them because they don't appear in the list

Yes I have done that but they don't appear in the list of POI's. What also confuses me is that there are loads and loads of foreign speed cameras that also don't appear in the list, but when I added the UK ones they appeared.

Can you give us a link to the actual file you downloaded for Classic FM?
I thought that Mike was only e-mailing it to those who ask for it.

If there are "loads and loads" has that tipped you over the 100 limit?

Also, If you connect the Go to your PC via USB (don't run "Home") can you see the ov2 file in the map folder using Windows Explorer? Does the name look right compared to the other POI files (i.e. they should all have ".ov2" at the end not ".ov2.ov2" or nothing)

When I say loads and loads I simply means the ones pre-installed by TomTom - German and French speed cameras etc. I have a total of 82 .ov2 files but only a small subset of them appear in the enable/disable POIs screen. What determines their appearance in this screen ?
As it happens my Classic FM file has just appeared after numerous docking and undocking operations, both at my PC and in the car.

Can someone also please remind me what I do to make a POI appear on the map. I used to do this with my PPC version of TT, but for the life of me I can't find an option that does it. The manual doesn't match the software either - according to the manual the enable/disable POI screen should have a title of "Select POI category to display". Mine just says "POI category" and nothing gets displayed on the map.

You should only need to enable the POI to be able to see it on the map, although the POI will only appear when zoomed in. Go to Browse Map/ Options button, make sure Points of Interest is ticked then press the POI button bottom left. Now your POI list will appear, tick which ever you want displayed - Mike
