Please Help!!!!!!

I have just bought a Garmin 360 that came with your database included on it, however, for some reason when we go past speed cameras it tells us the wrong speed (the right speed is still shown on the map just not at the top in red), we think this may be because it is set to kph, but have no idea how to change this as we didnt load the software onto the gps! Please help!

Welcome to the forums! This is a common error when installing speed cameras onto Garmin units. The software used for this defaults to 'meters and kph' and many people (including shops that install it for you) fail to change the setting to 'feet and mph'. This only needs doing once though.

If you subscribe to the members area (£2 for a month or £19 for a year - click 'join' at the top) you can download al the latest updates, enter exclusive competitions and have access to members only discussion forums. There is a guide on how to install the speed cameras too. If you are the first to submit the location of a new static camera then you will be given free lifetime membership.

If you don't want to have to pay anything then the only option is to get in touch with the shop that installed them and explain their error. Remember though that the database is updated every 10-14 days so within a few weeks the installed database could be quite out of date, particularly with roadworks cameras.
