I have signed up with gpsworld, downloaded the latest safety camera files from the site and copied them strictly as per instructions. However, they appear to overwrite the existing TT database/safety camera files. Is this normal procedure? i.e. do the new files include TT data as well as gpsworld submitted data.
In 'Manage POI' I cannot see these files, let alone set up preferred distance warnings for them - is this an issue I should take up with TT? Am using TT vers. 6.52, W European map v606.0
Wud be very appreciative on any guidance here.

This is most unlikely, as the TT & PGPSW camera file have different names. i do not know the name of the TT version but it is not going to be prefixed 'pocketgps_uk_'.
First, which database have you downloades - Single, Consolidated or Zoned?
If you followed instructions to the letter, then you have an/some ov2 files in your map folder named 'pocketgps_uk_........." .ov2 & .bmp ( & possibly ogg if you're doing that too ). Ok so far.
Tap your screen for the menu. Bottom right should be Enable/Disable POI's. tap it - use find & type p then scroll until you see pocketgps_uk......on the list. make sure the checkbox has a tick in it. Ok this far.
Change Preferences, Manage POI's. use the keypad or Find & keypad as above to find listings under 'p' for pocketgps_uk. Anything there?
I know there are limits on number of POI's, 100 for you I think, so unless you have a massive amount of files there should be no reason not to find them.
Also, it is ok to do so, but most users don't run both databases at same time for duplication of alerts & clashing warnings. Best to use HOME & remove TT before running PGPSW.
Let us know if the files are there, on your SD, also which PGPSW Db you are trying to set up.

No chance of using the "Hit 's' instead of 'h' defence" then!!!!!!!
