Hello all,
I have just bought an IPAQ H1940 and TOMTOM NAVIGATOR II in a package from Dixons. The whole thing cost £499 including the car kit, extra memory card, etc.
I was just wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on the IPAQ and TOMTOM software. Is it pretty good or could I have got something better for my money?

The 1940 is pretty much the bottom of the iPAQ range - but it's still a very capable machine.

I use TomTom Navigator 2, and I still think it's a good buy. I look forward to an update hopefully within the next six months (the map data is getting a little stale now).


All that said, I think you've got an excellent package for an excellent price. To put it into perspective, I paid more for my iPAQ 3970 in September 2002 than you paid for your entire setup!
