I tried it, unfortunately the iCN version of windows CE was missing something, so Memory Map did not run. I did however get a Win CE version of OZ Explorer running, but some bugs it the Win CE of the iCN made it nearly unusable.
I now use a PPC and Memory Map for topo stuff, if I was buying again it would be a Garmin (probably CX60) - They have been topo/handheld GPS so long they really do know their stuff, no one else touchs them, although Memory Map SW does give them a run for their money, Garmin have unbeatable hardware, and the top line handhelds now do street mapping, not so good in the car, but good enough.
So if you want one unit that does it all (video, MP3, etc)- PPC
One unit that does all the GPS stuff (Marine, topo, street mapping)- Garmin
Dedicated units - the choice is wide open.
Opening the iCN for other stuff is fun, but it does not always work.
