Have a problem i'm hopeing someone can solve.
Try to turn on Quest, just goes beep beep beep ete etc. Nothing on screen.
Only way to get screen on is to put unit into charger or powered motorcycle mount whereby the unit works perfectly. Take unit out of mount, it switches off!!
Any ideas? |

Looks like the battery went dead... contact Garmin about this, they are very nice in most cases. ;) _________________ Robert Elsinga =8- )

Thanks Elsinga, i'll give it a go.
How do you know it's the battery though? Have you heard of this same problem before?
Thanks. |

Deduction: on external power it runs okay, on battery power it doesn't. ;) You could also try to boot the Quest on external power and remove the external power when it's working, just to see if it's a problem booting the Quest on battery power. And you might try www.elsinga.net/quest-first-aid to be sure it isn't a problem with corrupted memory. _________________ Robert Elsinga =8- )
