Just considering my first satnav purchase, and looking at Navman, partly because of TMC option.
Is the difference between N20 and 530 just the 'navpix' feature - I cant see this as very important. |

I think there are a few other differences such as additional waypoints rather than just one, as well as newer maps I believe. Think there are others too such as a new interface. |

Just to clarify you can have more that 1 waypoint (intermediate destination) on the 530; there is a limit but I seem to remember is way around the 10 region.
I've not seen any good reviews of the N20's updated software; the 530 could get a bit confused especially if GPS dropped out and I'm not sure if they addressed that on the N20. On the whole it was a useful unit which has now been superceeded by a newer model. The only reason I can see to buy a 530 is that it is going pretty cheap now. |

Thanks for the info. Actually Ive seen that the N20 also has a faster processor (400 MHz vs 300)., which sounds useful.
So what model supercedes the 530? and is it a better bet than the N20? |

The N20 arguably is the 530's successor. _________________ Tim |
