Hi, I have a Orange PDA SPV M5000 which I would like to put TomTom 6 onto it, but I have read that version 6.00 and 6.10 do not display the maps and information in landscape mode like TomTom 5. Has this been fixed yet and if so what version should I have? I know that I can change the set up of my PDA, but I am not keen to do that. Any ideas or information would be really helpful.
Thanks

Andrew, Welcome to the forum TTN6 now uses the settings in the operating system to determine screen display rotation, your device using WM2005 will be fine, simply set the screen you want in the settings option, ttn will then pick up the setting and use it - Mike |

For the m5000 TomTom wil automatically rotate as you change the screen from laptop mode to PDA mode. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Thanks for taking the time to reply. My PDA mount in the car holds the PDA in Landscape, so I don't want to have to keep going into my PDA settings before its placed into the cradle, where as TOMTOM5 had a setting to switch it to landscape mode. If I set the PDA to display in Landscape mode, the telephone mode then displays in Landscape mode when it is better in portrait mode. Am I being to picky? but it does seem odd for version 5 to have the facility and then TOMTOM to miss it out on version 6?
Thanks again for any replies.
