Hi, can anyone help, having loaded database ov2 and bmp's onto my PDA, some of the icons display as purple boxes rather than the correct speed limit icon, they display correctly on the computer.
After re downloading data base some icons corected themselves the original icons that were ok remained ok. having re downloaded several times the missing icons remain missing. the pda displays unable to load file on the missing icons when opened in file explorer. |

The POI data consists of two files one is the actual positional data (ov2) and the other part is the icon (bmp). The two file names must match each other, only the file extension should differ, otherwise you get a red/ purple square icon. If the files won't load then your download would appear to be corupt, try another attempt at downloading the data.
Which POI files are you havind trouble with? - Mike |

Thanks for your help, got there in the end, downloaded database again to no avail, found I had to put database into my notes file on my activesync, then syncronise my PDA, then cut and paste the files into the maps folder, very strange but some of the data seemed to be getting lost in the transfer directly to my SD card. Hope this might help someone else. kind Regards Jane. |
