|
|
Sorry to ask this question guys as I'm sure you're sick of answering it. I have searched for an answer and failed miserably
Anyway, two of the mobile cam locations near to where I live are reported as 30 mph cams when in fact they are both clearly sited in a 40mph. How can I formally report this to the database compilers to assist with accuracy?
Many thanks,
Pete |

Pete, go to the camera download page and scroll down a bit where there is an interactive map you can zoom in to find the incorrectly rated camera, or if you know the cameras ID number simply fill in the ammendment section to alert the site staff to the change, please use the additional coments box to give any other information to back-up your alteration request, the more information supplied the better (read easier) to implement - Mike |

The form to submit new cameras or changes to existing ones is on the same page as the datbase download:-
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras
(just below the Download section).
There are several ways of doing it, as you'll see.
In this case, if you know the reference number of the sites, the easiest way is is to use the form on the right. Just put the reference number in the box, set the speed correctly and add a comment like "speed was wrong - should be X not Y"
AFAIK, you don't need to get the positional details just for a details change. |
