|
|
Hi all,
I've recently used tomtom home to download and install the European speed camera warnings to my map of Western Europe. During the install procedure tomtom home asked me which map I wanted to install them to. I have two maps on my sd card, UK and ROI and also the Western Europe map, naturally I chose the Western Europe map. Having put the sd card into my laptop I can see that the files are contained within the Europe map folder so I know they are all there, trouble is, the POI category for speed cameras is not listed and when I browse a map of paris say, I cannot see any speed cams listed.
In essence then, I have the files on my sd card but the locations do not appear on the map when the unit is switched on, nor is the speed cam category displayed. Any suggestions as to what I can do to rectify this are much appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete |

TT's own speed cams are NOT in POI's but elsewhere (don't remember where)
Do a quick search on here. |

Thanks for your reply but I'm afraid a search didn't help me to resolve the issue. I couldn't find anything to assist.
Can anyone else assist?
TIA,
Pete |

Note that you now don't have the ability to change warning distance or warning sounds Thanks Tom Tom. Yet another reason to use the PGPS database. |

thebinman,
I feel two things:
1. Shame.... at not finding this link myself and
2. Gratitude...to you for helping me to resolve this.
Thanks :D |
