Amending Nuvi 360 POIs

I've collected a fair number of POIs and was wondering how the Nuvi reloads them when you use the POI loader. Does it just behave as a PC would and overwrite the old file or does it try to load it as a new file. Reason I ask is that I have been deleting all the custom POIs on the Nuvi prior to updates to avoid a garbled POI list. This also deletes all the favorites. Sorry if this seems a dim question but I have no experience of how these units use flash memory and the interface with the PC

your deletions are in vain ;)

poi loader first removes any custom poi's before loading the new ones on

Thanks MaFt, That's exactly what I wanted to know. I was thinking it would be easier to create and edid custom POIs on the PC and load them afterwards with the POI utility. Regards, Mike
