|
|
I have recently bought a Garmin C510D which upto a week ago i was very pleased with. However in the last 4 or 5 days it has developed a nasty habit of switching itself off after approx 10 mins and then again after another 10 mins once i've switched it back on again.
I have checked the battery display and it also happens when it is connected to the car charger.
Has anybody else experienced this ? Has anybody got any ideas ( apart from taking it back to Halfords ! ). |

Have you added anything else to the unit, eg mp3 files, additional maps on to an SD card etc....
I've an idea what might be causing it, but only if you've added extra stuff to it. |

Hmm, I would try removing the SD Card and seeing if it's fine. That will at least point you towards whether it's anything on the SD card. |
