wrong speed limits showing for all speed camera types

I've just loaded the speedcamera database onto my garmin c310 and have tested it on a known stretch of road on the A90 between Portlethen and Aberdeen. I've found that the speed limit warning for known 40mph gatso's is alarming as 25mph and speed limit warning for known 70mph gatso's is alarming as 45mph. why is this? And what do I need to do to fix it?
