I have a Mio P350 with TTN5.21 with maps of Western Europe inc.GB.
I have been waiting for the update promised by TT, coming soon, but have decided if the updates do not appear by the end of the year, I'll purchase maps from another company.
I checked with Navman and they say the P350 is not compatible, although the Mio168 is. I then checked Destinator 6 and was told 'Sorry, not compatible'.
Has anyone successfully installed either of the above on this unit?
I then thought I would check prices etc for the Miomaps, obviously compatible, but when when I do a Google search I am unable to find maps only.
Am I being thick? Has my brain gone into hibernation?
Has anyone any idea when I could get just the Miomaps?
Thank you.

According to this page on the TomTom site, TT6 is compatible with your Mio P350. I think you may have been looking at the page where they show devices compatible with their bluetooth GPS receiver.
I doubt if you will find software that is better than TT6, but some people speak very highly of iGO, which is available (legitimately) on eBay for upwards of £39.99 - or Buy it Now at £49.99 (street level maps of all Europe)

I had considered TTN6 but, apart from updated maps, there is nothing that would be to my advantage.
I've been hanging on for this:-

TomTom Map Updates
Last year we offered our TomTom GO, NAVIGATOR and MOBILE customers the opportunity to benefit from the Update Programme. From April/May until November 2005 many of our TomTom product owners upgraded to the newest application version and new street level maps.
Introducing a new map update program. Soon existing TomTom customers will be able to purchase the latest maps.
It's been on their site for some time now saying 'soon'. That's why I've decided if 'soon' isn't by 31st December then I shall look to other mapping.
I Googled iGO and found the following
Quote:
The update has been tested on the following PDAs:
Mitac Mio 169, 168RS, 168, 336, 558, 339, 180, A201, A701
Notice the P350 isn't shown? _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

I'll start building up a list of pro's and co's of the alternatives to TT.
What I don't want is miles and feet, circle instead of roundabout, 2D view only. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
