I bought my i3 on 23rd July 2006
Less than 4 months later, the unit says (says? , more like nag, nag, nag) its out of date,
emailed Garmin & guess what?
tough...
Garmin say that I have to pay for an update.
very poor customer service. |

How long has the device been sat on the shelf? - switch it on and go to Settings/ / Map/ Map Source if it states City Nav Europe NT+ v8 then it is upto date, if it says v7 get in touch with Garmin customer support as the v8 upgrade was free for quite a while.
If you are running v8 maps then that is the most upto date available at the moment, v9 is due out soon but I don't think it can be purchased as an upgrade yet - Mike |
