TomTOM 5 losing GPS Pairing

Hi,
Using TT5 on a C600 with BT77 GPS. It's developed an irritating habit of late in that the GPS needs repairing with the hnadset each time I use TT otherwise TT can't find it. It is not a problem with the phone/gps pairing as I also use MemoryMap and this always works without having to re pair the phone and GPS.
It started doing this last week but I have mad no chnages to phone or tomtom.
