you can use the mplayer from the Makayama package and your own shell script as described in my article. _________________ Lutz

thanks Lutz, I've read the posts about Makayama and Mobilnova and neither seems to be stable enough to warrant paying for them
will just wait or buy a portable dvd player _________________ SW

Hi Lutz,
Which article are you referring to?
Is it http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/insidetomtomgo910.php or have you done a different one since?
I'm interested in getting a shell going in the TomTom One V2 as well, but I'm not sure if the One V2 hardware is similar enough to the GO 910, to be able to connect the same way.
I.E. Is there a docking mount for the One V2 that can be connected to a desktop computer to be able to make a Hyperterm connection to the One V2?
Thanks,
Richard. |

The hardware is similar. There is no docking connector for the One though, so you need to do most of the stuff flying blind. I can use the Bluetooth terminal connection but that is not publicly available. _________________ Lutz
