Tomtom mobile no sound through handsfree kit

Hi,

Can anyone help me. I have Tomtom mobile 5.2 running on a Nokia 3230, everything works fine apart from the volume of the phones built in speaker is not load enough on the motorways.

So I have just purchased a Nokia handsfree kit (HF-3) the one that connects to the phone via the pop port and the external speaker plugs into the cig lighter.

My problem is that Tomtom only speaks once (the first instruction) through this handsfree kit (sounds great, very clear & loud), but after that I can't hear any further instructions, unless I unplug the hands free kit so Tomtom speaks through the phones built in speaker.

Can anyone help me?

I had the same problem the only way I could get it to work was to unplug the external mike from the charger speaker.
