Well, all I did was to go to this page (months ago)
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=39307
and at the very bottom left clicked on the "Watch this topic" thingy. It has worked for me absolutely spot on every time since then. I've no idea what RSS feed means, so I hope like h*** they never do away with "Watch this topic"!
Once, though, I actually happened to notice the update on the site BEFORE I received the e-mail. Sad, ain't I? _________________ Dennis

We currently send the newsletters out about once a month and we intend increasing this to fortnightly in the not too distant future. _________________ Robert Brady |

Have you actually sent one out yet because I haven't seen a newsletter since I signed up in May? |

Is it possible you didn't view from a previous e-mail notification - if you don't look, you don't get another e-mail (it says).
The test would perhaps be if you get a notification of this reply, then your "watching" thingy works, so check you are still watching the topic.
Don't take too much notice of me - I'm a babe in arms compared with all the other folk on this site. _________________ Dennis

We don't send one out for every update (updates are now about once every 2 weeks).
One reason we don't send the newsletter 'too' often is because we often get accused of spamming although it is a double opt-in list and impossible to sign up by accident
We are hoping to overcome this problem, by communicating at the top of the email why people have received it (not at all obvious to a small minority). When we have reduced the number of spam complaints, we hope to send them out more often. _________________ Robert Brady |

We've sent out quite a few since then; I recommend signing up again. You may want to also check your spam filters. _________________ Robert Brady |

They work for me, the last two update notifications were received on the 8-11-2006 and 20-11-2006.
The RSS feed was also updated on the 20th. _________________ Graham.
