hello, i have a mio 268 and have used it for almost a year but the maps are out of date and i need to update it i have looked at a few forums and some people have mentioned altering the software so it is able to run tom tom software. is this possible, if not can anyone give me some help on updating and also adding speed camera detection on it.

what do you have on it at the moment is it Miomap V1 or version2, _________________ Takara GP56 igo primo 1.1

Hi there
Well version 2 has been out for quite a while, but I would not suggest that you upgrade to that as version 3 for the 268/269 is coming out very soon so I would wait a while, I should think about just after Xmas,or at least very soon after that, and then you will have a up to date Gps
