Something in the order of +/- 0.1mph. BUT only if travelling in a straight line and not on a hill.
Oh, and not accelerating or braking.8O _________________ Richard

Anyone know how to stop it showing the speed limit and current speed and turning red if you exceed it?

If you go to Change Preferences/ Status Bar Preferences then de-select the speed check box. This will turn off your speed and the speed limit that is contained within the map data. (Note if you have Show fewer menu options selected this preferences setting will not be available until you select Show ALL menu options) - Mike |

Should have been more specific - I want the speed, just not the limit nor the USELESS red display that you cant see (erm not that it is red much you understand!) ;) |

Ah, I understand what you mean now! - bad news I am afraid, you can have all or nothing, there is no "halfway house" - Mike |

Thought that may be the case - not so bad as I have since worked out how to get a full screen read speed read out on my Origin (tho it does not update as fast it is almost always exactly the same speed)
