Permanent Docking Kit

My permanent docking kit has stopped muting the radio/
cd player when giving directions, it still turns on with the ignition and goes to night colours when I turn on the head lights. Has anyone any ideas what could be wrong? Any help would appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

I suppose the first thing to checked is the settings in the docking preferences. Then perhaps a reset.
