Hi guys. Does anyone know whether the new TMC receiver that TT have made available for the GO series, will work with my TT1 V1 (6.150), and if so what's the provision/coverage like around the UK.
Kind Regards,
Phil. |

I'm afraid it does not work with the One (any version) only the new 510/710/910 units. _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

PDY, you're better off subscribing to TOMTOM Traffic if you have a bluetooth mobile phone. The service is very reliable. Reading on here, it sounds like a lot of people are having some probs with their Receivers and reception. Not to mention the hassle of setting it up and removing it everytime you get out of the car. |

Thanks duckie. Yeah I did consider tt traffic, as I have a gprs mobile with bluetooth, but have been unable to register with TT via their website, every time I enter my email & password I get an error msg for some inexplicable reason, so I was hoping that TMC would have been another option. Also I liked the idea of just plugging it in and going. I guess I'm probably expecting too much from what is, at the end of the day, an entry level product.
Thanks anyway duckie,
phil. |
