The USB driver won't do you any good without the rest of the software. Unlike the later navman products that use WinCE and Active Sync, Its a custom interface. |

Thank you for your answer.
So do I have to buy the software from Navman?
It's a nonsense... I have a Navman product with a proprietary software and I cannot access to it... |

You have to remember that you only bought 1/2 the product. The fact you don't have the other half (The CD's) is not Navmans fault. You cannot chose to buy 1/2 the product, then expect Navman to give you the other half for free.
As for buying new software - if you want to do something like load on speed cams, POIs or maps, then you need software. If you can get the orginal (or copies of) CD's then you can use those, otherwise buying a new set of cd's will give you the latest sofwtare and maps (Assuming you don't already have them.) Keep in mind that you are not just buying the CD's. You are also buying map licenses and software licenses. |

I have this problem too, although I have the SmartST software, the installation disk is for the Pocket PC version, and missing the driver.
The file needed is
NAVCAR.INF
If anyone has it, I would be very grateful, as it would allow me to transfer the Speed Camera POI from this site.

You won't be able to use the PPC version for an iCN - they are very different software packages. You will need to get Smart ST for the iCN6xx series. |
