Hi, I have downloaded the voices camera warning, no problems there. They appeared in the correct folder. They were enabled in POI, I was able to assign them to the correct sound in the proximity warning alerts.
However there are more camera types than sounds to map them across too.
Do I just ignore all the others or is there something I am doing wrong

Nope, you aren't doing anything wrong.
There are only 15 built-in sounds and that is what you are replacing (although the choice PGPSW have gone for is a bit odd - no 'Gatso 70' for example, and a wasted slot for the pointless copyrite message).
There is another way, if you want more sounds/voices:-

The web site Andy has linked to is a wealth of information and utilities, well worth a visit, before undertaking any messing around with the files on your device please make sure you have fully backed up the device to the PC - Mike
