using Tom Tom home with TTone

I cannot seem to get TT home to work with my TTone i plug it in and TT home starts up i get the little boxes popping up saying there bits (cant remember exactly what they say but theres nothing saying it is a problem). Then i get a message in red saying i do not have the correct coponnent needed to run this programe please log on and TT home will automatically down load it for you but i cant log on it wont let me and i cant click on the red writing either. If i click on the TT home icon i get a message saying i am not using a compatable tom tom. even though it is my TTone picture on the screen. I have uninstalled and installed many times but still the same thing and like the rest of you i can back up files and replace them but thats it. Can anyone help???????
