More than one version of TT6

Hi all

Is there more than one version of TomTom6 for PDA

I am asking because I have read in other forums that TT6 on a PDA will give Portrait view only but I have seen pictures of TT6 on devices in Landscape mode.

I know they have removed the rotate screen option so was wondering if they have two versions out.

it is likely that the pics youve seen of landscape mode is on devices which have a landscape option within the hardware.

You need at least win 2003se and upwards to run ttn6 in landscape mode i.e. in pda firmware, it is not a feature within ttn6, some units like Mio 168 and acer can be upgraded, see ttn6 landscape forum

I use a Dell Axim X51v. Just rotate the screen prior to running N6 and it works fine. I have not seen a jerky screen and it is actually clearer to see the status info. However, I am used to the portrait mode and this is the one I choose in preference. Both both equally well though.
