Hi all
Is there more than one version of TomTom6 for PDA
I am asking because I have read in other forums that TT6 on a PDA will give Portrait view only but I have seen pictures of TT6 on devices in Landscape mode.
I know they have removed the rotate screen option so was wondering if they have two versions out.
Thanks |

it is likely that the pics youve seen of landscape mode is on devices which have a landscape option within the hardware. |

You need at least win 2003se and upwards to run ttn6 in landscape mode i.e. in pda firmware, it is not a feature within ttn6, some units like Mio 168 and acer can be upgraded, see ttn6 landscape forum |

I use a Dell Axim X51v. Just rotate the screen prior to running N6 and it works fine. I have not seen a jerky screen and it is actually clearer to see the status info. However, I am used to the portrait mode and this is the one I choose in preference. Both both equally well though. _________________ TomTom Go720 v8.320
