Updating I3

Hi Can anyone tell me what to do when updating the camera database on the I3, rather than installing for the first time.

Do you have to uninstall the existing database, if so how?

Any help very welcome

Nick, for the i3 (and other similar Garmin products that use POILoader) you simply unzip the camera download and copy the new files to the folder where you keep the POI's on the PC. This action will overwrite the old files on the PC, then use POILoader to up load the new contents of the folder on the PC to the Garmin device.
In some respects it is the same as installing the camera files from new, the only way to overwrite POI files on the device is to use POI Loader, ALL POI files are replaced each time you run the loader application - Mike
