Hi there,
just got tomtom one and need to download all camera info. Too much clutter on your website: I am looking at Garmin and UK single file with all cameras. Will that do the job?

Robin, Welcome to the forum, please don't try loading Garmin data into a TomTom unit, it certainly won't work as intended.
Could I suggest you have a read of THIS OK this guide is for a different TomTom device, but all TomTom units have the same options/ set-up etc (Just skip the bit about using Text To Speech - as your unit doesn't support that) - Mike |

Why are you looking at Garmin when you've got a TomTom? The Garmin files are csv files. I think you need TomTom OV2.
Have you tried the step-by-step instructions for TomTom One? You'll find the link in the left-hand column under Speed Cameras, Camera Help Guides? _________________ Anita

Mike, the instructions are very helpful.
I shall be buying a TomTom One Europe when they come out next month, after 3 years using a PDA which now deserves to be pensioned off. At present I use the separate speed zoned files, with CheckPOInt, so I have not encountered problems with the number of POIs. Do you know what the upper limit is for POIs in TomTom One, and does having a lot slow it down? The processor is not as fast as in my Ipaq 2210

The limit for the number of POI's depends upon the software your unit is running, if it is version 5 then you can only put 39 on the device, if on the otherhand it is either upgraded to version 6 or is a new purchase TomTom One V2 which uses version 6 - then the limit is 100.
I don't think it will slow the device down, the PNA's are different to the PDA's - Mike |
