Addon maps from tomtom home website?

I have a TOMTOM 700 with Western European Maps.
It doesnt show streets in the smaller towns and villages in Spain if you look at the map addons through TOMTOM Home you appear to be able to buy them individualy for €4.95 each.
Doe anyone know do they integrate completely and do they cover just the one town or is it an area?

The unit will treat each map as a separate map, to use one of these will require you to select it when you need to use it. You would be better off looking at a larger map containing more upto date information IMHO, this might appear costly at first but it is less hastle in use and avoids switching maps all the time - Mike

Thanks Mike sorry another question what is the map called that you mention?Of course with it being a 700 everything is stored on the hard drive no card slots.
Is it a larger version of the Western European Maps that i already have?

AFAIK the ONLY single, seamless European map available from TomTom is the 1GB SD card HERE, all other variants are the set of individual maps.
If you were to buy that card, you should be able to use a card reader to copy the map to your PC and then dump it to your Go from there.

Having said that, the TT main site says:
