|
|
Hi all i purchased the above a week ago and in the centre of the screen is what i can only describe as something similar to a blob if you press the screen around it it expands.
If you arel ooking at the screen head on no problem but from an angle the blob becomes more visable the greater the angle.
Also you can see it quite clearly when the unit is switched off .
Is it a problem or will it go away?
Regards jkm |

It is a problem and it will not go away, although the unit is likely to continue operating normally for some time. |

With regard to the TOMTOM with it being just over a week old should i try for a replacement or warranty claim or are some new ones shipped this way?
Thanks Again jkm |

If you bought it second-hand, you have almost no chance to get it repaired under the warranty, but it is worth trying talking to TT customer services - sometimes they give in. If you bought it new, get your money refunded or the screen repllaced asap.
