Hello,
Im running tom tom navigator 5 on my pda. Ive noticed that on a lot of journeys recently it looses where i am. Is this because of new roads? If so when is a newer version coming out? Also does anyone know where i can get free voices? Thanks :D

Look at the satelite bars - they will show you how strong your signal is. If the sat nav shows you in the middle of a field, and, if you have a route sets, then keeps trying to replot the route, and if the road looks new, then it is probable that that bit of road is not on the map.
You can buy updated maps from TT, but be aware that they are aways about a year out of date by the time they get to you. TT are supposed to be bringing out maps very soon so I would wait to get the latest. The problem is you may have to upgrade to TTN6 to use them. _________________ Peter

Around £100 IIRC, what GPS receiver are you using and what model of car? _________________ Darren Griffin |
