Tomtom 5.21 update on QTek 9090(XDA II)

I have Tomtom5 on a QTek 9090 and have recently run the 5.21 upgrade. However, ever since, I have noticed that tomtom freezes and I have to do a manual reset. This reset become more and more frequent as my journey progresses. As you can imagine, when driving on european roads at night, I am far from happy at having to muck about with my satnav every 10 mins or so, to avoid missing my next turn.

Does anybody have similar issues and is it down to the update or hardware simply getting tired?
