looking to get one of these units soon but need to know a few things.
never had a sat nav before.
1, can i use the unit in a 24 volt truck?
2, does unit have a truck mode, avoid low bridges ect.?
3, does unit have auto reroute if you take a wrong turn?
4, can you use the bluetooth as a handsfree device?
5, how does the speed camera thing work, can it be used on its own?
mmmm, think thats it.
thank you in advance. |

1 yes, you'll need a transformer from 24 V to 5V mini USB
2 no
3 yes
4 no
5 please read the speed camera pages here, they explain how that works. Our cameras will work on this device. _________________ Lutz

I have two TomTom in-car (should that be in-vehicle?) chargers and they both show the input as 12/24V. It is recommended that you start the engine before plugging the charger in.
No truck mode, but you can set it to 'Limited speed' and that will calculate your journey time accordingly. You can import a Low Bridge database into the unit, too.
Yes, although it might suggest you do a U turn now and again. Just keep going and the unit will eventually work out an alternative.
No, not on the ONE. You can use bluetooth to get traffic information, which is a subscription service.
The camera thing works by warning you where cameras are fitted, as long as you have set the warnings up, which is easy. It can be used without a route being set, if that's what you mean by 'on its own'. _________________ Tim |
