hi

sorry if this is stupid but what type of camera is the one that flashes 30 mph slow down called if someone goes over the 30mph

We've just had one of those fitted near where I live - what a joke. There have been no significant changes to the traffic, and no building around here for years (oh sorry, now I think about it, someone had a porch built!), yet they have reduced the limit from 60 to 50, and put a warning sign which flashes when you are doing a little over 40! And they expect people to take notice of them, not if they overuse them they won't - what a waste of money.

Can anyone shed any light on the legality of one of these flashing signs that is on a backstreet in Hounslow. It actually lights up looking like a 20 MPH enforcement sign, but it is in a 30 MPH area!

we have a few of them around Wokingham .. They never work .. they are either lit up Permenantly or off no matter waht speed a car passes them ..Waste of money
