Could be a dead pixel.

Did you try cleaning the screen?

take it back to the store and exchange it. Sounds like a dead pixel and will drive you mad.

red is just stuck. Black or white is dead. a red one can be fixed by either just using the device or gentley rubbing it with your finger/

Nickmon....

Just curious to know. Did you rub it ?, Did you feel silly doing so ?, but most importantly, Did it work ? Handy thing to know, should this happen to mine. Wink

There you go, doesnt seem as easy as simply rubbing it but none the less not exactly difficult. Would still take it back though.

I haven't heard about any pixel problems - I would exchange it as well.
This is too good of a unit to have an isolated glitch drive you bananas.
